The Pick-a-Pen series is a new generation of innovative "Roll & Write" games, which actually roll with pencils. This allows for many different game mechanisms with the same playing material. But in every game, colouring in fields is central. The starting player rolls pencils in 5 colours. On his turn, he chooses a pencil and colours the corresponding route. He may only have one route per colour, so if he does not yet have a route of that colour, he starts one at an empty dive location. Otherwise, he has to extend his existing route. The symbol on the pencil indicates how many steps he may colour in and whether he must go straight ahead or choose freely. If players reach treasure chests or coins on their route, they can colour in bonus points on their sheets. Who scores the most points?
