Dragons, Treasures & Mysteries is an expansion to the popular The Quest for El Dorado. The new expansion consists of three modules, each of which adds its own game elements. For example, the "Dragons" module puts dragons on the playing field, slowing down playing pieces in their immediate vicinity. The "Treasures" module introduces treasure tokens, which allow a player to destroy hand cards, make two moves of their choice or even win the game.
The "Mysteries" module causes covered terrain tiles to lie on the playing field, preventing players from properly preparing for what lies ahead. All three modules add numerous new game elements to the game. Additional cards and cave tiles provide even more variety. All modules require the base game, but otherwise can be played separately or combined with previous expansions.
