This puzzle is a continuous work in progress by the inventor, who created his first wooden padlock in 1979.

This new padlock is made entirely of gray anodized aluminum, very resistant to manipulation (like the professional rifles of mountaineers) and strong.

Within the latest Naef product, Naef Spin, a surprise awaits: when the top is spun, centrifugal force causes the two halves of the sphere to suddenly open, revealing their red inner surfaces. The sphere, crafted from light, finely grained maple wood, flatters the hand and entices the user to spin it again and again in order to witness this moment of “revelation”. Naef Spin sparks playful moments of wonder.
